Over 16 Years of IT Experience & Expertise in NoSQL Databases and Big Data.
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting my blog and to welcome you to keep coming back again and again to real all my updates. It is my mission to create content that others will find useful, sharing my experiences and my knowledge in a way that is fun to read.
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dieudonne Madishon NGAYA, and I am the owner and operator of the blog at dmnbigdata.com. A French citizen, I have lived and worked in the United States over the last four years, relocating here in 2014.
All my life, I have found myself drawn to technology. I keep up to date on the latest cutting-edge tools and innovations, because I am confident that there is still plenty left to discover in terms of how we run our systems and how we store our data. For more than sixteen years, I have worked in information technology, accruing experience in a range of areas and with a range of systems. NoSQL databases and Big Data are my primary area of interest, and I have done hands-on work with such systems as:
SAP Sybase and SQL Server DBA
Apache Cassandra / DataStax Enterprise DSE
DataStax Search with Solr
DataStax Analytics with Spark
Big Data /Apache Hadoop
Collaborating with large financial companies such as Natixis, Societe General, and BNP Paribas. Multinational banks and other organizations know that they can trust me and the validity of my knowledge and service. I am an expert with a reputation, so to speak, and I understand which solutions work in each data-handling situation that may arise. Since April 2017, I have worked for General Electric (GE) Aviation, serving as the Cassandra and DataStax Enterprise Solutions Architect. I have also worked for Charter Communications in Missouri, for Kroger in Ohio, and for UTC Aerospace in North Carolina, providing a breadth of knowledge on Cassandra architecture.
I earned my Diplôme d’études Approfondies, which is equivalent to a Five-year post-graduate diploma, in Demography and Statistics at the University of Bordeaux in Talence, France, graduating in 1995. I hold multiple IBM certifications, multiple Microsoft certifications, a certification in DataStax and Apache Cassandra, and a Hadoop certification.
